Emery Joseph Dupre, 72, a native of Montegut, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011.
Mr. Dupre was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a retired truck driver for Calongne, Inc. and a past member of the Dulac Bassmasters.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dupre; daughter, Sharon (Jody) DeHart; sister, Mary Dupre; grandchild, Andrea (Gary) Gregoire; and great-grandchild, Easton Trosclair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andre’ Dupre and Clara Trahan; brothers, Lenias, Alcee, Paul, Leroy and Freddie Dupre; and sisters, Emily and Cynthia Dupre, Dorina Jervis, Delma Smith and Agnes Rodrigue.
Burial was at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
