Emick “Mickey” B. Decuir, 77, a native of Franklin, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Decuir; sons, Emick and Turk Decuir; daughter, Shannon (Richard) Guidry; sisters, Peggy Borel, Wilda Cali, Doris Giroir and Millie Thibodaux; brother, Murphy Decuir; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile Decuir and Eliska Rice; stepfather, Gerald Rice; brother, Guy Decuir; sisters Dorothy Robicheaux and Regina Prevost; and grandson, Jason Decuir.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off, La. (Falgout)
