Emma Mae Chaney Allen, 74, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, March 26, 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond Sr. (Shirley) and Daniel Allen; stepson, Terry (Shannon) Hawkins; brother, Ulysses Chaney; daughters, Rita Allen, Augustine Bethune and Ernestine Vice; 32 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius Allen; parents, Paul Chaney and Selina Washington; and brother, Earl Hubbard.
