Enell Bradley Brown, 67, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, June 1.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela B. Adams, Dawn B. Burrell and husband Raymond, and Bonnie R. Brown, all of Thibodaux; brothers, Rev. Roland Bradley of New Orleans, La., Ronald Bradley of Labadieville, La., and Donald Bradley of Carenco, La.; stepbrother, Royal Meade Sr. of Houma, La.; sisters, Leona Johnson of Fairfield, Calif., Veronica Adams of Frisco, Texas, Ann Clay Crider of Jacksonville, Fla., Elendra Bradley, Myriam Bradley, Cheryl Washington and Lillie Mae Smith, all of Raceland, La., Mamie Louise Bradley of Houma and Gloria Bradley Dorsey of New Orleans; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy “Lil Man” Brown; parents, Rev. Thomas Bradley Sr. and Emelda Jones Victor; and brothers, Thomas Bradley Jr., Earl Ellis Bradley, Lloyd Bradley and Gerald Bradley Sr.

She was a member of Moses Baptist Church Choir, the Pastor’s Aid Club, the Scholarship Committee, the 5th District Women’s Department, Rebecca Chapter # 23 Order of Eastern Star, Heroines of Jericho and Order of Cyrenes. Her hobbies included shopping, cooking and baking for the community.

The funeral was Friday, June 5, at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux with burial at St. Peter Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
