Enos Joseph Porche, Sr., 82, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, May 2, at 12:15 p.m.


He is survived by his wife Dorothy Mae Ledet Porche; sons and daughters-in-law, Enos Porche, Jr. and wife Wasanna Porche, Wade Porche and wife Michelle Porche, and Darren Porche; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Robichaux and husband Richard Robichaux, Joan Colwart and husband Donald Colwart, and Shirley Boudreaux and husband Dalton Boudreaux; brother, Wilbert Porche; sister, Enola Voisin; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Porche and Mary Eunice Babin Porche; daughters, Pamela Porche and Wanda Porche; brother, Nolan Porche; and sister, Doris Domangue.

Enos was member of the St. Bernadette Council Knights of Columbus, the VFW, serviced in World War II as a Corporal in the Army, a Eucharistic Minister and usher at St. Bernadette, and worked for Brown Maintenance and retired at age 79.

Visitation is Monday, May 4, from 12:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., at Falgout Funeral Home. Mass of of Christian Burial will be at 3p.m. Monday at St. Bernadette with burial at St. Francis II Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to St. Bernadette Renovation fund.
