Eric Wayne “E-40” Smith, 25, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, February 05, 2008.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Mae Smith Azema of Thibodaux; stepfather, Anthony Azema of Thibodaux; brothers, Don Smith of Baton Rouge, La., and Tinsley Smith of Thibodaux; sister, Phyllis Young of Thibodaux; and grandmother, Essie Mae Young of Thibodaux.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Zenobia Smith Azema and Wesley Smith Sr; and great grand mother, Sarah Ruffin.
Eric was Baptist. He was a former High School and Nicholls State University Football Player. His hobbies included cooking and sports.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00pm Saturday, February 09, 2008 at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux with a religious service to follow. He will be buried in the Moses Baptist Church Cemetery # 2 in Thibodaux. .
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
