Ernest Benoit, 72, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 5:51 p.m. Wednesday, June 18.
He is survived by his brothers, Bobby and C.J. Benoit; and sisters, Shirley Legendre, Mary Ann Chenier and Dot Thibodeaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alces Benoit and Mable Naquin Benoit; brothers, Armond, Russel and Joseph Benoit; and sister, Marion Legendre.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at St. John Catholic Church followed by mass. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
