Ernest Bouffanie Jr.

Ernest Joseph Bouffanie Jr., 65, a native of Galliano, La., and resident of Jasper, Texas, died at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011.

Mr. Bouffanie’s family was his life. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.

He is survived by his sons, John and Kenneth Bouffanie; daughters, Ann Miller, Elizabeth Griffin, Josephine Baker and Katie Lee; brothers, Kelly and Louis Bouffanie; sisters, Coreen Pitre and Doreen LeBouef; 21 grandchildren, Sarah, Amber, Courtney, Kelsey, Joshua, Crystal, Cody, Angel, Shelby, Andrew, Francis IV, Blade, Jasmine, Allena, Maranda, Lucien V, Brittany, Ashley, Amanda, Brianna and Candy; six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kylie, NoraLee, Ian, Eve and Ryder; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Mott Bouffanie; parents, Ernest Sr. and Josephine Gaeto Bouffanie; sons, Joey and Timmy Bouffanie; brothers, Russell and Anthony Sr. Bouffanie; and sisters, Cathy Joe and Susan Bouffanie.

He is buried at Cheramie Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
