Family Fun Fest has something for all ages

Ernest Clement, 84, a resident of Thibodaux, LA. and a native of St. John Community, LA., died Monday, March 26, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to noon Thursday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. A mass will be held at noon Thursday at the church, with burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria Hernandez Clement; two sons, Michael and Chris Clement; two daughters, Sandra Clement Schexnayder and Candy Clement Stahl; one sister, Mrs. Lloyd Clement; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Pauline Benoit Clement; four brothers, Roland, Nick, Donald and Russell.
He was a member of the American Legion and the Thibodaux Senior Center. He served in the U.S. Air Force with the 2nd Bomb Group 20th Bomb Squadron. He served as the City of Thibodaux as Councilman for District “A”. He also helped organize the West Thibodaux Fire Dept. and was a member of the West Thibodaux Fire Dept. Board for many years.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
