Ernest “Neg” “Doc” Joseph Danos, 80, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, July 25, 2007.

He is survived by his one daughter, Linda Eymard and her husband Gregory; two daughter-in-laws, Linda Danos and Tamie Cheramie (wife of the late Jacob Eymard) and her husband Garrett; three brothers, Patrick, Jr., Gilbert, and Forest Danos; four sisters, Mildred Soudelier, Theresa Robichaux, Mary Jane Kramer, and Rita Danos; three grandchildren, Rowdy Danos and his wife Jamie, Holly Terrebonne and her husband Travis, and Kelly Danos and his wife Tessy; and four great grandchildren, Alexandria and Shelby Eymard, Andree Danos, and Cohen Terrebonne.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Dufrene Danos; his parents, Patrick and Mae Bellanger Danos, Sr.; one son, David Joseph Danos; two brothers, Clifton “Black” and Harry Danos; two sisters, Mary Lou and Agnes Danos.

Ernest was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Her served his country in the United States Army. He loved his family and gave his love fully and unconditionally to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His Bulldozer was his joy and work. He was a retired bulldozer operator.

Visitation is Saturday, July 28, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. He will be buried in the church cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
