Ernest “Big Red” Lewis, 64, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012.
Mr. Lewis was a truck driver.
He is survived by his sons, El Ray (Debra) and Terry (Nantinda) Baker; stepdaughters, Shena (Keith) Johnson and Nicole Allen; sisters, Helen Harris, Dorothy (Earl) Harding and Doretha (Daniel) Nixon; and brothers, Earl, Willard (Louise), Sam and Edward Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Lewis; parents, Helena and Samuel Sr. Lewis; and brothers, Robert, Samuel Jr., Alvin, Joseph, Samuel and James Sr. Lewis.
Burial is at Southdown Cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
