Ernest Naquin, 65, a native and resident of Isle de Jean Charles, La., died Friday, June 26.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadette Dardar Naquin; son, Glynn Dardar; daughters, Janet Mount and husband Earl, and Jessica Dardar; brothers, Eddie, Whitney, Antoine, Tillman and Alvin Naquin; and sister, Elizabeth Dardar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elphage M. and Lezia Dardar Naquin; son, Michael Dardar; brothers, Luke and Delvis Naquin; and sisters, Edna Foret and Delma LeBouef.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, June 29, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
