Ernest “Naness” Rodrigue, 89, a native and resident of Chackbay, LA., died at 2:40 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Adelin Rodrigue and Chester Rodrigue; one daughter, Priscilla Lassere; one brother, Clifton Rodrigue; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorina Rodrigue Rodrigue; his parents, Emile Rodrigue and Priscilla Landry Rodrigue; one son, Melton Rodrigue; one brother, Wilfred Rodrigue; and two sisters, Malvina Boudreaux and Irene Cortez.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Bayou Region Hospice, 195 Corporate Drive, Houma, LA 70360.
Thibodaux Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
