Ernest Williams, 82, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011.
Mr. Williams was a member of New Belmont Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Williams; son, Louis (Phyliss) Williams; daughter, Joyce (Sammy) Campbell; brother, Irving Williams; sister, Dorothy Reese; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sr. and Viola Williams; three brothers, Joseph Sr., Willie Jr. and Edward Sr. Williams; and five sisters, Elouise Williams, Lillian Stamps, Mary Stevenson, Annette Taylor and Carrie Williams.
He is buried at New Belmont Baptist Church Cemetery in Labadieville, La.
