Ernestine Vito Detiveaux, 96, a native and resident of Bourg, La., died Saturday, May 30, at 10:15 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Leroy J. Detiveaux and wife Bonnie C; two daughters, Rosedell Brooks and Clara Mae Gambrella and husband Morris; and one daughter-in-law, Ruth R. Detiveaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Godfrey Detiveaux; parents, Joseph and Elvia “Francois” Guillot Vito; one son, Edward J. Detiveaux; one son-in-law, R.J. Brooks, two brothers, Clarence Vito and Arthur Vito; and two sisters, Clara Robichaux and Marie Blanchard.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, La. With Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
