Esma Lee Soule’, 80, a native of Thibodaux, LA. and resident of Bridge City, LA., died Monday, January 22, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Third Emanuel Baptist Church in Bridge City. The Religious Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Church, with burial in Rest Lawn Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
She is survived by her former husband, Joseph Soule’; two sons, Ronald Soule and wife Jacqueline of Marrero, LA. and Troynell Soule’ and wife Martha of Montze, LA.; three daughters, Gloria Woods and husband Loyd of Thibodaux, LA., Joyce Soule’ of Arlington, TX. and Crystal Soule’ of Atlanta, GA.; one brother, Newton Lee of Los Angles, CA.; She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August, Sr. and Louvenia Lee; one son, Mark O. Soule’, Sr; three brothers, August Lee, Jr., Walter Lee, and Lucien Lee; four sisters, Viola Verrett, Leona Lemark, Gertrude Alexis and Jeanetta Cooks; one granddaughter, Le’keila Veach and one great grandson, Troy Payne, Jr.
She was Baptist and served on the Deaconess Board at Third Emanuel Baptist Church. Her hobbies included growing plants and working in her garden.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland will be in charge the of arrangements.
