Esther Marie LeBoeuf LeCompte, 79, a native and resident of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., died Tuesday, February 17, at 5:45 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Derryl LeCompte and wife Carol, and Carol J. LeCompte and wife Janelle; daughters, Sandra Griffin and husband Billy, and Janice Cranford and husband William “Bill”; brothers, Loches and Edward LeBoeuf; sister, Thelma Dupre; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard LeCompte; parents, Clairfey and Clothilde Naquin LeBoeuf; sons, Kenneth and Glenn LeCompte; brothers, Louby, Leon, Camile and Errol LeBoeuf; sisters, Inez Authement and Lena Chauvin; and great-grandson, Johnathon Egler.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut, La. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Pointe-aux-Chenes.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
