Esther Louviere Matherne, 99, a native of Vacherie-Gheens, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, March 12, 2015.
Mrs. Matherne is survived by her son, Wiley (Patricia) Matherne; daughter, Sharon (Francis) Robichaux; daughter-in-law, Irma Matherne; sister, Marjorie L. Thomas; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, La.
