Ethel Breaux Chiasson, 90, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011.
Mrs. Chiasson was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.
She is survived by her son, Rudy (Janet) Chiasson; brothers, Clarence and Numa Breaux; sisters, Victoria Yarbrough, Daisy Taylor and Laura Rouse; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Chiasson Sr.; parents, Duffy Sr. and Victoria Breaux; son, Teddy Chiasson Jr.; brothers, Alben, Duffy Jr. and Lester Breaux; sisters, Mable Rodrigue, Annie Duet, Lula Vizier, Elsie Edwards and Emelda Guilbeau; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2 at Holy Savior Catholic Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
