August 31, 2011Ethelene “Ethel” Kreamer Poincon, 76, a native of Marrero, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011.
Mrs. Poincon loved her animals, flowers and working in her yard. Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters. She will be forever missed and loved by her family and friends. She was Catholic.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne and Byron (Lola) DeRoche and Paul Jr. (Lynetta) Poincon; daughters, Jenny (Dudley) Loupe, Pam (Jonathan) Russo and Karen Poincon; sister, Mae Loup; brothers, Erole (Hilda), Alvin (Sedonia) and Ronald (Helen) Kreamer; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Poincon; parents, Joseph and Alice Kreamer; and sister, Una Busby.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30 and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 at Chauvin Funeral Home with funeral services to follow Wednesday. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
