Eugene J. Gaubert, 85, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 1:35 p.m. August 29.
He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Nina Benoit and Virginia Benoit; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Mae Benoit Gaubert; his parents, Frank Gaubert and Ursule Ledet Gaubert; one son, Leo Paul Gaubert; one brother, Theogene Gaubert; and three sisters, Lillian Guilliot, Judith Foret and Lucille Robichaux.
He was buried at St. Charles Borromeo Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
