Eugene Joseph Watson Sr., 67, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, September 24, 2007, at 4:25 p.m.
He is survived by two sons, Eugene Watson, Jr. and Hank Watson and his wife Vanessa; two daughters, Rosalyn Watson and Derina Watson; two brothers, Arthur “Sixty” Nimtz and Morris Watson, Sr.; one sister, Evelyn W. Dorsey; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel “Buddy” Watson, Sr. and Alice Decou; one brother, Daniel Watson, Jr.; and five sisters, Celina Lewis, Helen Bacchus, Audrey W. Theodore, Evanna Alvis, and Rita Trosclair.
Eugene was a devout Baptist.
Visitation is Saturday, September 29, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at Community Funeral Home in Houma. He will be buried in Halfway Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
