Eula McElroy

Eula Cecile McElroy, 98, a native of Matthews, La., died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015.

Mrs. McElroy attended Ella K. Hooper School for Girls, now known as MacDonell Children’s Services. As an adult, she worked as a housekeeper and child care worker for years in Houma and Thibodaux, La. She lived in Bayou Towers for more than 25 years and enjoyed the monthly birthday parties and coffee downstairs each morning. She has been long-time parishioner of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and was faithful in attendance.

Gifts in Mrs. McElroy’s name can be given to either St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church or MacDonell Children’s Services.
