Deadline nearing for recovery grant program

Eve Marie Buquet, 96, a native of Franklin, LA. and resident of Thibodaux, LA., died at 8:55 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2007.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at noon Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Audrey Buquet and Verna Buquet of Houma, LA.; five nieces, Judith Gibson, Patricia Murphy and husband, Donald, of Houma, Willia Beth Banks and husband, Michael, of Gainesville, Ga., Cathy McRae of Baton Rouge, LA. and Amanda LeBoeuf and husband, Easton, of Thibodaux, LA.; two nephews, Michael Buquet of Houma and Aubin Buquet and wife, Jennifer, of Lafayette, LA.; 15 great-nieces and nephews; 12 great-great-nieces and nephews, and a dear family friend and caregiver, Jennifer Constant of Thibodaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubin V. Buquet and Lena Maronge Buquet; three brothers, C. Robert Buquet, Aubin J. Buquet and Edmond P. Buquet; and two sisters, May B. Lirette and Daisy B. Buquet.
She was a homemaker and worked at Buquet Canning Co.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral of Thibodaux.
Chauvin Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
