Evelyn B. Bruce, 62, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 3:40 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis A. Bruce; parents, Luke and Pearl Callais Bellanger; one son, Curtis A. Bruce Jr. and wife Shelly G. Bruce; one brother, Luke “Varon” Bellanger Jr.; and three sisters, Jackie Plaisance, Maloy Guilbeau and Connie Castagnetta.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Bruce.
She was a member of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Lafourche Prevention Partnership and Red Ribbon. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow where she was a youth director.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
