Evelyn “Black” Lorraine Compeaux, 90, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 7:12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010.
Mrs. Compeaux was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Harold (Brenda) and Dale (Fran) Compeaux; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wister Compeaux; parents, William and Ozelia Charpentier Lorraine; one daughter, Jane Jabert; two brothers, Swietzer and Eldon Lorraine; and three sisters, Hilda Guidry, Velda Bruce and Dorothy Lorraine.
She is buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
