Everence J. Bourgeois, 77, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died Monday, May 26, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Melvina Bourgeois; son, Curt Bourgeois, daughters, Deborah Graves and Barbara Losh-Bryan; stepson, Allen Chauvin; stepdaughters, Lisa Chauvin and Wanda Eymard; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Evelyn Bourgeois.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 30, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
