Fannie Mae Davis, 70, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Baton Rouge, La., died Wednesday, May 14.

She is survived by her sons, Louis Davis Jr., and wife Wanda, Johnel Davis and wife Lorraine of Larose, La., Spencer Davis and Dennis Davis of Baton Rouge, Leonard Davis, Kevin Davis and Bryant Davis of Oklahoma City, Ok.; daughters, Josephine R. Davis, Carla Davis, Connie Davis and Cynthia Davis of Baton Rouge and Claudette Davis Attaway of Pittsburgh, Tx.; brothers, Willie Robertson of Raceland and Wesley Robertson III of River Ridge, La.; sisters, Bertha Mae Cooper of Houma, Virginia Lawson of Thibodaux, La., and Alberta Robertson of Jackson, La.; 37 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Davis Sr.; parents, Wesley Jr. and Louise Robertson; daughter, Mary Ann Davis Coleman; brothers, Edward G. Harris Robertson and Felton Davis Robertson; grandparents, Wesley Robertson Sr. and Harriet Gale; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was Baptist. Her hobbies included cooking and being with family.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. 11 a.m. Monday, May 19, at New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Larose with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
