Florence Rita LeBlanc Coffman, 76, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Saturday, September 29, 2007, 9:59 a.m., in Boutte, La.


She is survived by two sons, Ray and Aubert Coffman; one daughter, Kathleen Coffman Gordon; one brother, Michael LeBlanc; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Coffman; her parents, Willard and Alice Picou LeBlanc, Sr.; one son, Sterling Francis Coffman; and three brothers, Willard, Arron, and Magnus LeBlanc.

Florence was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Visitation is Monday, October 1, 2007, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 2, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin, with the funeral to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
