Florence Ann Lodrigue Defelice, 62, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Grand Caillou, La., died Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at 8:37 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, John Sidney Defelice; her mother, Bessie Marie Lacabon Lodrigue; one son, Brad J. Defelice and his wife Heidi; three daughters, Caroline M. Montoto and her husband Henry, Jackie D. Leco and her husband Mark, and Carol D. Duplantis and her husband Johnny; three brothers, Anthony Lodrigue, Jr., Lawrence Lodrigue, and Jimmy Lodrigue; two sisters, Gloria Crappel and Mary Gregoire; 12 grandchildren, Danielle L. Duplantis, Samuel R. Parfait, Jr., Kandy R. Parfait, Sydney M. Duplantis, Mark A. Leco, Jr., Christie A. Defelice, Bradley J. Defelice, Savannah L. Leco, Seth M. Defelice, Trey M. Defelice, Joshua J. Montoto, Christian L. Montoto, and one on the way; and one great-grandchild, Tori C. Parfait.
She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Joseph Lodrigue; her grandparents, Florence and William Lacobon, and Anjelic and William Lodrigue; two brothers, Henry Lodrigue and infant brother, Lodrigue; and two sisters, Effie McVay and Bessie Mae Welch.
Florence was a homemaker.
Visitation is Friday, October 12, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 13, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Chauvin Funeral Home. She will be buried in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
