January 11, 2011Florence Marie Guidry, 86, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011.
Mrs. Guidry was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Whitney Jr., Walter (Wanda), Gerald (Victoria), Terry and Richard Guidry; daughters, Mary (Ronald) Smith, Glenda (Tony) Parfait, Suzette Stout, Olinda Gros, Nancy (Hewitt) Redmond and Rena Guidry; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Guidry; her parents, Franklin and Azelie Fanguy Luke; three brothers, Paul, Claude and Arthur Luke; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
She is buried at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
