Florence Lefort Lasseigne, 86, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011.
Mrs. Lasseigne was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano.
She is survived by her sons, Alex Jr., Christopher and Jody Lasseigne; brothers, Samson Jr. and Leroy Lefort; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Lasseigne Sr.; parents, Eusta and Samson Lefort Sr.; sister, Mary Lefort; and brothers, Herman, Ernest and Pershing Lefort.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano with mass to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery. (Falgout)
