Floyd Andrew Mahler, 52, a native of Chackbay, Louisiana, and resident of Raceland, Louisiana, died July 3, 2014.
An employee of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for 30 years, Mr. Mahler was a member of the Dusty Riders Club. He enjoyed hours riding his horse Snowflake and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tammy Porche Mahler; children, Derek Porche and Megan (Jesse) Daigle; two granddaughters; father, David Mahler; brothers, Shelton (Sandra), Ricky (Sarah) and Douglas (Cheryl) Mahler; sister, Sandy (Dwight) Sandlin; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Mahler’s mother, Nolia Rodrigue Mahler, preceded him in death.
Burial is at Resurrection Memorial Gardens.
