Houma man found guilty of wife’s ‘04 storage box murder

Floyd “Mag” Molaison, 55, a native and resident of Choctaw, LA., died at 3:52 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2007.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. today to 10 a.m. Saturday at Choctaw Fire Station. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Chapel in Choctaw, with burial in St. James Chapel Cemetery.


He is survived by his mother, Rita Ordoyne Molaison; his brothers and sisters, Roy “Py-Guy” Molaison, Jean “Joe” Molaison, Terry Usey, Joyce Andras, Carl “Scrub” Molaison, Kathy Chiasson, Dean “Poc-co” Molaison, Deanna Dempster, Cynthia Morrison, Gladys Cortez, Audrey Oubre, Becky Granier, Ruby Boudreaux, Tammy Kliebert and Missy Horn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Molaison; his grandparents, Aida and Paul Ordoyne and Henritta and Raoul Molaison; one brother, Luke Molaison; and one sister, Gail Molaison.

He was a 1983 charter member of the Choctaw Fire Department serving for 24 years; however, he served as a fireman for 30 years with other companies.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
