Floyd Nathan Written, 68, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Bayou L’Ourse, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012.
Mr. Written loved spending time with his family and friends but especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to the camp where he loved to hunt and fish. He loved to cook for his family, listen to music and most of all tell stories.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Written; children, Mary (Jesus) Ramirez, Chrisanna Duplichan, Georganna Sweetser and Christia, Clement Jr. (Linda) and Glenn (Mellisa) Vining; brother, Woodrow Written; sisters, Maxine Martinez and Theda Pojar; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruby Written; sons, Floyd Jr. and Jason Written; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Twin City Funeral Home with services to follow. (Twin City)
