Floyd “Gator” Toups, 86, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, July 18, 2011.
He is survived by his sons, George and Stephen Toups; daughter, Martha Verdin; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecile Toups; parents, Lester and Maggie Toups; and brother, Norman Toups.
Burial was at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Cemetery. (Landry’s)
