Fondren C. “F.C.” Sibley, 63, a native of Walker, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010.


Mr. Sibley retired after 31 years as an explosive technician with Baker Atlas.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Haggard Sibley; daughters, Amaryllis Orgeron and Margaret (Clifton) Schouest; brothers, James and Mark Sibley; sisters, Stella Duncan and Betty Jo Ellis; and six grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Fondren and Roberta Hull Sibley; brother, William Murray; and his son-in-law, Clayton Orgeron.

He is buried at Raceland Presbyterian Cemetery.
