Forest Joseph Rousse Sr., 81, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Friday, Oct. 23, at 11:21 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Elmire Cheramie Rousse; one brother, Harris Rousse; one sister, Pauline Eymard; one daughter-in-law, Jane Rousse; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Rousse Sr. and Odile Guidry Rousse; two sons, Forest Rousse Jr. and Danny Rousse; two brothers, Paul Rousse Jr. and Webb Rousse; and three sisters, Aline Cheramie, Earline Cheramie and Alice Rousse.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Golden Meadow.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
