Frances Barbera

Frances Tramonte Barbera, 92, a native of Galveston, Tx., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at 4:15 a.m.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances Barbera Ordoyne; sister, Mamie Tramonte Barbera; sisters-in-law, Ruth R. Barbera and Margaret T. Tramonte; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Barbera Jr.; her parents, Jasper Tramonte and Christine Massa; son, Leonard J. Barbera; brothers, Joseph J. Tramonte Sr. and Sam J. Tramonte; and brothers-in-law, Sam C. Barbera and Jerome A. Barbera.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. She will be buried in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
