Frances “Fran” Doucet, 88, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died at 9:58 p.m. Saturday, June 21.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Forest J. Doucet; two sons, Daniel J. Doucet and Kenneth “Nico” Doucet; two daughters, Martha D. Griffin and Gloria D. Hebert; one sister, Verna Toups; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Azema Griffin; one brother, Ivy Griffin; and four sisters, Odile Falcon, Virginia Esteve, Lucille Ward and Laura Stanridge.
She was buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
