Frances Rose Valure, 85, a native of Tickfaw and resident of Houma, died at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She is survived by one brother, Steve Valure of Independence; one daughter-in-law, Pierrette Todaro; one sister, Mrs. Vincent (Mary) Calderone of Tickfaw; two grandchildren, Victor Todaro Jr. and Patty Todaro; two great-grandchildren, Bradley Porche and Victoria Rodriguez; and one great-great-grandchild, Xadrian Porche.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Valure; her first husband, Salvado Todaro; her parents, Antonio and Antonina DeNicola Valure; one son, Victor Todaro Sr.; two brothers, Carlo Valure and Joseph Valure; and four sisters, Mrs. Sam (Lena) Orlando, Mrs. Frank (Mathilda) DiVincenti, Mrs. Joe (Annie) Orlando and Mrs. Mike (Josephine) Tiesi.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
