Francis Anthony Voisin, 63, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Theriot, La., died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011.
Mr. Voisin was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and was an avid fisherman and community leader. He was self employed at Le Magazin grocery store, served on the Terrebonne Parish school board for 14 years and was head of the Civil Service Board for the Bayou Dularge Fire Department. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
He is survived by his brother, Jerome (Bobbie) Voisin; and sisters, Dr. Judy (Val) Chauvin, Dianna (Bruce) Strahan, Dr. Catherine (Dr. Randall) Wilde, Patricia (Darryl) Belanger and Nessie (Steven) Galliano.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiltz and Velma Voisin.
Burial was at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
