Francis P. Theriot, 60, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:50 a.m. Monday, June 30.


He is survived by his wife, Iris Hudson Theriot; his father, Eugene Theriot; one son, Shane Theriot and life partner, Donovan Goodman; one daughter, Tammy Schindler and husband, Wade; three brothers, Eugene Theriot Jr. and wife, Kathleen, Philip Theriot and Victor Theriot and wife, Sue; eight sisters, Mary Elaine “Tee” Authement and husband, Sterling, Sylvia Theriot, Linda Collins and husband, Eugene, Patricia Grabert and husband, Loney, Rebecca Gautreaux and husband, Ivan, Janet Massey and husband, David, Roberta Schulte and husband, Jerome, and Precellia Luke and husband, Kevin; and three grandchildren, Keardon, Bryce and Lainey Schindler.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona Tiver Theriot; one sister, Earline Theriot Jackson; one niece, Jenna Theriot; and his grandparents, Frank and Benita Lico Tivet and Emelian and Francine Champagne Theriot.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
