Frank F. Foret, 95, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, May 28, at 11:50 p.m.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lucille Breaux Foret; daughter, Lois Foret Brassette and husband Don; grandchildren, Kip Brassette and wife Mary, Amy Detillier and husband Cory, and Kristy Quatrevingt and husband Mark; and great-grandchildren, Trae Brassette, Emmi Kate Brassette, Gage Detillier, Addison Grace Quatrevingt, and Mason Quatrevingt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Foret Sr. and Eletia Theriot Foret; six brothers, O’Neil Foret, Sidney Foret, Paul Foret, Leon “Mim” Foret, Etienne Foret, and Albert Foret Jr.; and one sister, Bernadette Foret.
He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 1, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland, La. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
