Fred Medeiros, 82, a native of Maui, Hawaii, and resident of Lockport, La., died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010.
Mr. Medeiros owned and operated Fred’s TV Service for many years and was known as “the TV man.” He enjoyed visiting with people and never seemed to know a stranger. He will be sadly missed by all.
He is survived by his son, Barry Medeiros; daughters, Naomie (Charlie) Plaisance, Jane Medeiros, Marlene Blanchard, Leilani (Dennis) Brunet and Mary (Lynn) Albert; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 at First Baptist Church in Lockport with the funeral service to follow. He donated his body to LSU Anatomical Services.
