Freddie Griffin Jr., 61, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, March 30.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Nixon Griffin of Houma; his father, Freddie Griffin Sr. of Thibodaux; daughters, Melissa Griffin and Tracey Griffin of Raceland, La.; brothers, Earl Griffin, Bernard Griffin, Larry Folse, Alexander Griffin, the Rev. Lionel Griffin and wife, Irma, all of Thibodaux and Eugene Willis and wife, Veronica, of California; and sisters, Ella B. Hawkins, Joyce Griffin, Sarah Ann Hollie and husband, Kernan, and Marlene Griffin, all of Thibodaux, Maxine Smith and husband, Elton, and Versa Lee Smith of Raceland.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Griffin.
He was a retired cement finisher and a member of Residence Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, at Residence Baptist Church with services to follow. He will be buried at Mechanicville Emanuel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
