Garly Scott Jackson, 69, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, May 11, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Ben (Cynthia), Miller (Robin), Ronald (Dorothy) and Eric (Brianna) Mosely; daughters, Geszel (Lawrence) and Andrea (Josiah) Mosely and Shelia Townsend; brothers, Willie, James (Dorothy), Albert (Ivanola), Lionel (Lucy), Richard (Margie) and Clyde (Elizabeth) Scott; sisters, Jennie Quinn, Delores Lewis and Bernie Randolph; 27 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Mosely Sr.; parents, Willis and Lucy Turner Scott; and brothers, Earl, Herbert, Claude, Joseph and Robert Scott.
She is buried at Southdown Cemetery. (Community)
