Gary Lynn Sinclair Sr., 59, a native of Petersburg, Il., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, February 8, at 6:50 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Bonvillian Sinclair of Houma; parents, Hollis Lee and Lucille Powell Sinclair of Barnett, Mo.; sons, Joshua Lee Sinclair of Kaiser, Mo., Ryan Michael Sinclair of Warrensburg, Mo., and Gary L. Sinclair Jr. of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; stepdaughters, Pamel Ann Parra of Garyville and Kerrie Lynn Morgan of Tickfaw, La.; brothers, Hollis Edwin Sinclair of Petersburg, Walter Kenneth Sinclair of Barnett, Robert Eugene Sinclair of Barnett and Danny Ray Sinclair of Barnett; sisters, Ruth Ellen Sinclair of Springfield, Il., Barbara Skaggs of Petersburg, Judy Carolyn Betts of Boonville, Mo., and Martha Ella Boerema of Springfield; and step-grandchildren, Brittany Lassiter, Jessica Escarra and Alexandra Raffray.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Lee Kelly.
He was a cable TV splicer for Charter Communications and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. He was Baptist.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
