Gayle Rose Barrios Leboeuf, 66, resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011.
Mrs. Leboeuf graduated from the second class of South Terrebonne High (1963) and attended art school in New Orleans, La. She also worked many years at Whitney Bank as a teller. She was active in her church and TOPS. She enjoyed painting-a skill she shared with her Grandmother Munson and her mother.
She is survived by her children, Melisa (Paul David) Cobb, Tracy (Calvin) Thibodeaux and Kenneth (Danna) Johnson Jr.; sisters, Lynn (Bill) Ellzey and Yvonne (Alfred) Menendez; brother, Nolan (Carol) Barrios III; stepmother, Myrtle Brumfield Barrios; two stepsisters; two stepbrothers; eight grandchildren, Morgan and Kyle Thibodeaux, Breana and Ashley Cobb, and Kenneth, Kenton, Karly and Karson Johnson; one great-grandchild, Gracie Rose Thibodeaux; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan Jr. and Mary Phyllis Munson Barrios; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nolan O. Barrios Sr. (Rose, then Gertie), and Mr. and Mrs. Sanford P. Munson (Beatrice).
She is buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, La.
