Genevieve D. Carlos, 63, a native and resident of Theriot, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 4:10 p.m.
She is survived by her mother, Regina “Jenny” DeHart; two sons, Bartholomew W. Carlos and wife Joy of Houma, La., and Randolph P. Carlos and wife Rose of Houma; one brother, Wilber DeHart Jr. and wife Cheri of Theriot; five sisters, Rosie DeHart and husband Calvin of Theriot, Mary Ann “Chickie” and husband David of Theriot, Elaine Lirette and husband Dennis of Theriot, Loretta Luke and husband Leroy of Theriot, and Carolyn Gold and husband Terry of Houma; six grandchildren, Johanna Carlos, Matthew Carlos, Randy Gaudet, Brooks Gaudet, Taylor Gaudet and Angel Gaudet; and good friend, Russell Zeringue.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph J. “Blackie” Carlos Sr.; father, Wilbur DeHart Sr.; two sons, Randolph J. “Randy” Carlos Jr. and Kim J. Carlos; and one sister, Earline Liner.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with burial at Magnolia Cemetery.
